in cricket, an occasion where a ball bowled (= thrown to the batter) by a left-arm spin bowler (= a player who throws the ball in such a way that that it turns around and around and changes direction when it hits the ground) moves to the right when it hits the ground:

I started bowling chinamen when I was a teenager.

It has been suggested by some that the term "chinaman" be replaced.
